Polish Abroad has secured £2500 from the Minority Ethnic Development Fund (OFMDFM) for the recruitment of a suitable Bi-lingual Co-ordinator of Polish Abroad. There is a possibility a further £2500 will be secured in the current financial year. This call for expressions of interest is currently for a fixed budget of £2500 with the remaining £2500 being entirely subject to confirmation of funding. If further funding is confirmed the committee of Polish Abroad reserves the right to extend the contract at their discretion. Details of the full service required for £5000 are detailed in this call for expression of interest but are set out separately so that the call is flexible to cover different funding scenarios.
It turned out we had made a mistake with the contact email on the previous version of the document. So following up on a conversation with the OFMDFM (Philip Devlin) we decided to extend the deadline of the appointment process to ensure maximum involvement.
Bi-lingual Facilitator/Co-ordinator Service Specification
Polish Abroad seeks quotations from suitable providers for the following service:
Initially 25 days work @ £100 per day for Bi-lingual co-ordination (Total £2500)
Possible contract extension subject to confirmation of funding and at the discretion of the Polish Abroad committee for a total 50 days work ie. £5000 till 31st March 2016.
Potential further Bi-lingual Facilitation/Co-ordination work similar to the nature described in this document subject to successful application for any future funding.
Provide bi-lingual (English/Polish) community project co-ordination, programme management and facilitation for 50 days equivalent work from April 2015 – March 2016. Co-ordinate communication with partner Black and Minority Ethnic groups, administer project grant aid including making financial claims. Represent Polish Abroad at Community Planning meetings in the Derry City and Strabane District council area. Flexible working hours will be required including occasional evenings and weekends.
The 50 days service required is flexible and needs to cover the key requirements.
